The Vermont Mortgage Bankers Association (VMBA) is a Vermont mortgage industry professional membership organization. We are an adjunct member organization of the National Mortgage Bankers Association.
What We Offer
VMBA sponsors educational and social events and networking opportunities. Our members are the legislative voice for the mortgage lending industry in VT. We watch legislation proposals and monitor the impact of changes in Vermont laws as well as national laws to our industry Information.
Our industry is constantly changing. We help filter out what’s important and bring critical news to the forefront. The VMBA Mortgage Minute is emailed to you, highlighting issues and concerns. We’ll let you know what’s going on when you need to know.
As a member of the VMBA, you'll have the opportunity to attend the premier Vermont mortgage industry event - the annual Vermont Mortgage Bankers Conference. This full day event gives you an opportunity to network with you industry associates, visit with industry vendors and learn the latest directly from top industry experts, including the Vermont Dept. of Financial Regulation, leading mortgage industry attorney-trainers, technical trainers who have demonstrated their ability to share their knowledge and inspirational motivational speakers to help you focus on what keeps your doors open - your customers.. It's an event you can't afford to miss if you are serious about succeeding in the Vermont mortgage industry.
Education is critical. We provide training on the latest advances and changes in programs, products and rules. VMBA hosts approved NMLS Education, live and in-person here in Vermont. We provide quality, NMLS Approved training in addition to other training to help our members stay on top of their profession. Significant discounts are given to our members.
Members of the VMBA are listed on our Website, and have the opportunity to form contacts with others in the lending industry or to expand on contacts made during programs and seminars.
