Get an inside look at what’s new and what’s next with VHFA! In this session, we’ll break down the latest updates to VHFA’s Homeownership Programs, including current offerings, recent enhancements, and key initiatives on the horizon.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY


    Eric Hoffman, Manager of Business Development-Homeownership;

    Vermont Housing Finance Agency

     Eric is the Manager of Business Development for   Homeownership at VHFA. Eric is responsible for marketing,   outreach, and education to help homebuyers, lenders,   realtors, and others understand how to access VHFA   Homeownership programs. Before joining VHFA, Eric was a   Housing Counselor with Champlain Housing Trust where he helped Vermonters gain access to safe and affordable housing. Eric holds a law degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and briefly practiced real estate law in Vermont before entering the affordable housing non-profit sector. In addition to working at VHFA, Eric teaches property law as an adjunct at Champlain College.

    Mia Watson, VHFA Program Development Director;

    Vermont Housing Finance Agency

     Mia is the VHFA Program Development Director. In her   role, Mia is responsible for integrating across programs   and departments and new resource development to   advance the agency’s mission. Watson holds a Master’s   degree in Public Administration from the University of   Vermont and a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University.
