Fannie Mae just revised and simplified the rental income playbook, clarifying rental income guidelines and addressing policy gaps. Selling Guide Announcement SEL-2026-08 doesn’t just reorganize B3-3.8, it introduces brand-new, mandatory frameworks for short-term rentals, properties purchased within 45 days and departing residences.
